Raid rules of Divine Glory. If you attend a raid with us you are responsible to know these basics that are written below. Rules will be restated before each raid.

Raids have a start time. If at all possible try to log on 20 mins before start time to get to the raid spot. OR camp your char at the raid spot the previous night if you know you'll be cutting it close.

Raids have a start time for a purpose. Everyone has schedules and some people can't waste an hour of their limited play time waiting on late members. If your coming to a raid, try to be on time or try to discuss how to catch up with the raid leader, without putting the raid in jeopardy.

There should always be an MA (Main Assist), SA (Second assist should something happen to the MA), and a CC (Crowd Control should adds come along that are unmezzable or out of control). ALWAYS assist the MA, ignore everything else. Keep your eyes open when something happens to the MA, and promptly switch to assisting the SA. Don't help the CCer, that is their job and they were given it because they have the ability to do it. ONLY attack the mob that the MA has targeted AFTER you hear the assist message.

If your going AFK, make it well known in raid chat and put up your AFK tag. This includes short AFK times to go do quick things.

Concentrate on instructions. When the raid leaders says move, then move. Never pass up the person you are following and always keep an ear out for instructions on how to move.

ALWAYS keep your group posted on your mana if you are a main healer or an evacer. If you are an evacer, always keep enough mana to evac (thats why your the evacer).

Raid channels are for all the fun convo and talk. Raid say is for things important and pertaining to the raid. Do not flood raid say with jokes or unneeded comments. Also don't get so caught up in a good joke running on a raid channel that you ignore raid commands.

If your an evacer you will be given two or three people that will tell you when to evac. If one of these people decides an evac is neccessary please do so without delay.

If you do not post to attend a scheduled raid, then you do not have a reserved spot. If there are sufficient force to contine the raid, then you will not be included. This will become enforced more and more. We want you to go with us but we also want to know your coming. Last minute changes can cause crankiness.

If your the ML (Main Looter) make sure we don't have to remind you to do it. Turn on the warning window that tells you when your about to pick up a no drop item, someone may need that useless piece of junk your about to loot and destroy.

The chain of communication: if there are any question's...and there are always a thousand.....please start off by asking your group leader, they should have a grasp on what you need to know. If they don't know then consider asking the raid leader. Leading a raid is not simple, so please know that the raid leader will be in tell hell.

Finally, raids have several purposes.... loot, raid knowledge, quests. The purposes are NOT experience. Being in a raid is basically making the decision to sacrifice your chance at an exp group for your chance at loot, if any.

I'd like to remind everyone that although I may seem like I'm being harsh during raid commands, that it's nothing personal and I just want everyone to complete the objectives, have fun, stay alive. I personally feel responsible for every death on one of my raids.

Thanks,
Rainbowbright
